Wootton Nursery opened its doors on 1st October 2018. We can take up to 60 children in one day.
Blue Orkids is “a place where children grow and learn” through their own play. We follow the curriculum of Birth to 5 Matters to be able to provide our children the best outcomes in early years in a safe and caring environment.
We are open all year round from 8am to 6pm. We do close on Bank Holidays throughout the year and between Christmas and New Year., We have three inset days a year which are normally held in January, April and September

We aim to provide a secure and happy environment for all our children through a well-balanced stimulating programme of activities. In partnership with parents and the local community we strive to give every child equal opportunities to achieve his/her full potential.
We do love to get messy here at Wootton Community Nursery, as this is a great way for children to be able to express themselves in fine and gross motor skills. All children have the option to participate in the activities when they are ready to do so.
Activities can include:

We develop positive relationships with all, this enables children to feel safe and secure as well as developing their sense of respect towards others. As adults we role model the type of friendly, polite and respectful behaviour that we expect from the children. We ask that you as parents/carers also model this behaviour with your child to ensure consistency across home and nursery life.
We had our first Ofsted inspection on 10th February 2022 and we received a grade of GOOD, which we are very proud of as a nursery for our first report.
