I am Julia Maynard, the proud Director of Happy Orkids and Blue Orkids, with over 25 years of experience in early years education. With a strong background in Leadership and Management, I have dedicated my career to providing high-quality childcare, ensuring that every child has the best possible start in life.

The journey of Happy and Blue Orkids began with a deep commitment to community. When local nurseries faced the threat of closure, I took action to preserve them, ensuring families could continue to access the vital childcare they relied on. From that moment, my mission became clear—to provide long-term stability, excellence, and care for children and their families.

As an Ofsted Inspector, I have expert knowledge in safeguarding children and upholding the highest standards in early years care. My passion lies in creating safe, nurturing, and stimulating environments where children can flourish, learn, and grow with confidence.

Above all, I am family-oriented. As a mother of four children, I understand the importance of knowing your child is in safe hands. I treat the nearly 600 children in my care as if they were my own, ensuring they receive love, encouragement, and the best opportunities to develop.

With unwavering dedication, I continue to lead Happy Orkids and Blue Orkids with the belief that the future is safe in my hands.
